The first is a note from Joyce Walker-Sentel who attended the visitation for Dorothy Marler-Hicks.
The second is for Patsy McKay-Fretwell. Jerry Fretwell could use some grief support from some of us who knew Pat McKay.
The third is for Judith Gaye Brown - who was a childhood friend & classmate and a Brownie with many of our lady classmates.
I think she worked with Conrad Williams, Tommie Pierce and Gloria Smith-Liggitt in the Corp of Engineers.
The fourth is Betty Knapp from the class of ‘61

Jean - got to spend some time with Jason and his wife, Andrea.  Jason looks a lot like Carson.  Windy was there - very, very skinny -- and can no longer speak!

Jason said it's still hard on him about losing his mother.  I asked if they would stay at Carson and Dot's or move back to Mobile. Jason said they would be coming back to Mobile to live.

Said his mother, about two weeks after
Carson's death quit eating!!!! - She knew that Carson was not there, and gave up.

Just heard from my daughter, Melissa there in Sugar Land - Edward, the oldest (5 on 11 Jun) fell this afternoon playing with a little friend and broke his arm....  Told her that's part of growing up! -- and knowing Edward, that won't be the only time he breaks something!!! (-:  Typical BOY!!

Patricia McKay Fretwell

"I LOST MYSELF WHEN I LOST YOU" I lost myself when I lost you And I cannot seem to find The life I had before you left Before hopelessness conquered my mind People tell me it will get better And perhaps in time it will But right now, I'm simply existing Numbly trying to feel Any emotion that extends beyond pain Any tiny ray of hope Wishing for a light to guide me through the darkness Some method or means to cope And so each day I awaken And I take the time to breathe Mechanically going through the motions Which provide moments of respite… In Memory of PATRICIA FRETWELL JERRY FRETWELL

From Jane Davison-Sacerich

I called Barbara (Constantine) Young-Singleton's husband, Roger, and he told me that Barbara died Sunday afternoon.  She was in the hospital less than a week and her death was very unexpected and happened fast.  Fortunately she did not suffer.  Basically, the anti-rejection drugs that she took for the kidney transplant caused pancreatitis.
Roger requested that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation so someone else could live.
From Joyce Walker-Sentell
I just heard from Lenore Eilers Patrick .... More sad news:  Barbara (Constantine) Young-Singleton a dear "elementary/middle school" classmates has died (apparently last night or early this morning)   in Maitland, Florida.  Lenore is trying to call Barbara's son back  to get more  information.
