JANUARY 2010
WHISTLER GIRLS: Some of the ladies that attended First Grade (1950) at Whistler Elementary are getting together fairly regularly. If you were one of these first graders, please contact Julie Davis Welborn

MARCH 2010

THE EIGHT MILE BUNCH:
(Monthly) We call ourselves the Eight Mile Bunch and we meet at Morrison's in front of the old Springdale Mall on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 P.M. (Dutch, of course). There are about 90 of us, old former Eight Mile folks on the unofficial roster. This includes husbands and wives, even though they may not have attended Eight Mile School.

At Chickasabouge Park on Hwy 43 between Chickasaw and Saraland

Time: 10:00 a.m. – Til

Cost: Free Admission for Seniors! $1.00 for Under 50 years of age

Password: Whistler Reunion

Bring: a covered dish, soft drink of your choice, folding chair and memorabila

Lunch: will be served at 12:00 noon

The no-class Vigor High School reunion is set for April 24th - the fourth Saturday at the Heron Lakes Country Club - 3851 Government Blvd -Mobile, AL
Time: Social - 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm - Buffet Dinner - 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Cost -- $35.00 per person (includes gratuity and tax)
Entertainment by WKEN - 9:00 - 12:00 p.m.

MAY 2010

The VHS class of 1965 will be having their 45th reunion Saturday, May 8^th at the home of Jim Yance from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. It is $25.00 per person for the BBQ Picnic. For additional information and RSVP, contact Gail Bryant Yance at 251.626.2788

The VHS class of 1960 will be having their 50th reunion Saturday, May 15th at the Heron Lakes Country Club - All the information can be found at www.vigor60.com - click on the reunion news link.

The Prichard Reunion is set for Saturday, May 29th at the Saraland Civic Center from 11am to 2pm May 29, 2010. It is a “covered dish” social event for people who lived in Prichard during the 40’s & 50’s. Email me with any questions you have HERE

JUNE 2010

The VHS class of 1958 will be having their 52nd reunion Saturday, June 5th at the Steele Creek Lodge in Satsuma - The registration form will be on our website within the next month or so.

JULY 2010

The July 24^th the fourth Saturday is the annual date set for the Chickasaw residents of the 40 & 50's reunion. The Chickasaw Civic Center is the location. Watch the Mobile Press Register for details.
