A native of Alabama; she has been a Wichita resident since 1974. She works in several mediums, watercolor being her medium of ch

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Undergraduate studies at The University of Florida,
Graduate with BFA from Auburn University (Alabama),
Workshops with various artists such as Irving Shapiro/George Shook,
Workshops in computer software – Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign/Canvas/Publisher, Microsoft Word and various other Microsoft software
EMPLOYMENT
She has retired after 19 years at Boeing as a Graphic Designer in the Creative Services Department. She received numerous awards, also cash awards and recognitions during her employment and was selected by the editors of Graphic Design USA as a winner in the 2005 American In-house Design Awards for her designs of Boeing retirement posters from over 3000 entries.
She was Art Director for KSNW TV3 Wichita where she won an Award of Merit from International Gold Medallion Awards Competition for promotional artwork.
She has taught watercolor for: The Center for the Arts, Wichita Park Board, Twentieth Century Club, and private lessons.
She also worked as an Illustrator for Heart Thoughts Greeting Cards based in Wichita, Avery Postcards in KS., Third Army at Fort Benning, Georgia, General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas and Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
